Repair Instructions for HIMG® SCA™ Repair Kit

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE REPAIR OF GRANITE, MARBLE, TILE AND PORCELAIN WITH SELF CURING ADHESIVE (SCA™)

1. Bring the SCA™ to room temperature for best results. The warmer the product, the faster it will cure. The ideal temperature for dispensing is 60-70º F.

2. Attach a mixing tip. Mixing tips are for one-time use as the SCA™ product will harden inside the mixing tip in a few minutes. If both mixing tips are exhausted, you can also manually mix the SCA™ by dispensing a square of cardboard, then mixing the two parts with a wooden stick and applying to both sides of the defect.

3. Apply the SCA™ to the fracture or defect. SCA™ clear is best used as a glue for marble, granite and other natural stone surfaces.

4. The curing time is 5-10 minutes, depending mainly on the ambient temperature.

SCA™ is non-toxic and safe for food preparation areas. SCA™ is not epoxy, it is a self-curing acrylic.

It is common for SCA™ to cure with a light tack / oily residue; This is called a cure coat and can simply be wiped off with a damp cloth, alcohol, acetone, or mineral spirits.
